📱 How to Install Your eSIM

Get connected in minutes — no SIM card needed

⚠️ Before you start: Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or your current mobile data before installing. You'll need internet to download the eSIM profile.

📷 Option 1 — Scan QR Code (Easiest)

Open Settings

Go to Settings → Mobile Data

Add eSIM

Tap Add eSIM → then Use QR Code

Scan the QR Code

Point your camera at the QR code shown in your FootySIMs dashboard or email. Your phone will detect it automatically.

Follow the prompts

Tap Continue → Add Mobile Data Plan → done! The eSIM will download in seconds.

⌨️ Option 2 — Enter Manually

Open Settings

Go to Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM

Choose Enter Details Manually

Tap Enter Details Manually at the bottom of the screen.

Enter SM-DP+ Address

Copy the SM-DP+ Address from your dashboard or email and paste it in.

Enter Activation Code

Copy and paste your Activation Code. Tap Next to complete.

💡 Tip: After installing, go to Settings → Mobile Data → your new eSIM and make sure Data Roaming is turned ON when you arrive at your destination.

On some phones: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs

Add eSIM

Tap Add eSIM or the + button

Scan QR Code

Choose Scan QR Code and point at the QR code in your FootySIMs dashboard or email.

Confirm and activate

Follow the on-screen prompts to download and activate your eSIM.

⌨️ Option 2 — Enter Manually

Open SIM settings

Go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM

Choose manual entry

Tap Enter activation code or Add manually

Enter your details

Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your dashboard or email.

💡 Tip: After installing, go to your SIM settings and enable Data Roaming for the FootySIMs eSIM before you travel.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

When does my data plan start?
Your plan starts when you first connect to a network in your destination country — not when you install the eSIM.
Can I keep my regular SIM in?
Yes! Your phone can have both your regular SIM and the FootySIMs eSIM active at the same time. Just set the eSIM as your data SIM when you arrive.
Can I reuse the eSIM?
No — each eSIM can only be installed once. Once your plan expires you'll need to purchase a new one.
I can't find my QR code
Log in to footysims.com, go to your dashboard, and tap "Show QR & Details" next to your plan. Your QR code is always available there.
